I was glad mtv put up a few episodes of Remote Control to honor his passing and memory of him. Now saying that, that OFF THE AIR for season 1 used to be shit scary when I was a kid. Now a days I look at and it's just really really lame. I mean the one on this video was kinda half assed. For some reason I remember the OFF THE AIR area as being lighted with red lights. Maybe it's just me but it's just not as I remember it. When I was a kid I hated the second round cause of the OFF THE AIR.

Augie is one of my all-time favorite game show contestants after this. So good at trivia, so bad at actually getting how the game works. Great TV.

Ken Ober will be missed. My pre-teenage years were all about racing home from school and flipping on MTV to watch Kenny, Colin, Kari and Steve. This show got better the longer it was on. The day MTV cancelled it they started going downhill. For the last decade and a half it's been downright unwatchable.
