They practically sold the daughter off as soon as the tax man came knocking. It didn't seem to phase the father at all that he's daughter may be pregnant. The parents also acted very accommodating to a stranger flirting with a possible pregnant young girl and stood idle as she flirted back. Very unrealistic, and creepy:/

@iloveyouhunny EVERYTHING! the good and the bad! though obviously its nice to watch their happy go lucky idyllic lifestyle. and they did have an ep like in the book when pop buys the fair from his friend and has a run in with some teddy boys.
