Persepolis - Into The Night

Here's a music video I made for this incredibly beautiful looking film from Sony Pictures Classics. For those who haven't heard of it, it's a french film about the struggles of an Iranian girl that begins with her at 6 years old, all the way to 23 years.

This song kept running through my head during all the happier bits(the film is pretty serious in parts), and I wanted to make a video about it. I hope you enjoy.

Hey ... well done clip. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I have read the books.

This film almost reminds me of the Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' video "Running Down A Dream" style of animation.

Persepolis looks to be rendered in more of a bolder contrast (i.e. darker / heavier lines) and has a bit more "fluidity" to its character's movements than the Tom Petty video, though.

Once again, well done self-made music video. Soundtrack matches the clip.

I think you pick and awesome song for this video. When I was watching the movie I was intersted in how they made music such a big influence in her life. (Like buying it off the street out of some guy's jacket). So doing an AMV to a song about listening to music and dancing I find to be genius! Just awesome. And your editing of the footage is great. I love this video.
