July 2, 2007 Little League All Star game between North Venice and Culver National. Terrible collision between pitcher and catcher going for fly ball. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt. The pitcher stayed in the game and won it. Amazingly, she hung onto the ball and the batter was out.

  • that's why you call for the ball

  • thats why you say "I got it!"

  • @kuttiebabe ahem.. i do play softball, and i c kids play that are younger than these girls and even they know how to call the ball. so dont get smart with me. :)

  • young still learning this why your taught to say "mine mine mine" accidents happen hope everyone is ok.

  • I'm 13 and I've been playing softball since I was 5 and that was the catchers fault cause that was supposed to be the pitchers but it was also the pitchers fault for not calling it. (I'm a catcher so I would know)

  • @tweedon1 Maybe they should spend more time practicing baseball instead of practicing singing.

  • OMG! IM LAUGHING SOOO HARD!!!

  • (gus johnson) HERE COMES THE PAIN!!!

  • @floandsquirt Thats seems to be always what happens. Normally its short and second basemen hitting each other. I was short stop and my friend was second we both call it but still ended up colliding, I fell and she stepped on my face with her cleat twice. Their was alot of blood and i had to get 9 stiches under my eye. My sister got hit with a line drive to her eye so she doesnt play anymore, I do though

  • @tweedon1 that's the coach's fault. I am a travel ball coach and I have heard many coaches encourage cheering or ever tell there girls to "cheer louder". I tell my girls that I don't mind if they cheer, but they better know what's going on in the game. If they want to cheer, well, they can join a cheerleading squad. Girls cheering at softball games is such a bad habit to me. I think encouraging our team mates and "cheering" them on is a better idea, then actual "cheer" songs.
