I ran my whole life - lost and stumbling in the dark. When I finally slowed down enough for Him to catch me, this was one of the songs that touched my heart.

It was also the inspiration for my story - "Lost Things Found". So I dedicate it to Erik, Annalise, Andrew and the other characters from that story -- "Your mother gave me back my heart... You gave me back my soul."

  • My grandmother spent years running from Christ. I mean like 40 years!

And God finally told her she couldn't run anymore. He gave her agoraphobia (fear of open places.) She was a prisoner in her own home, held by fear. And there, God revealed himself to her again. And this time, she didn't run. And it's a good thing she didn't. because not long after that, my parents split, and she ended up raising me. If it weren't for her, I might never have met my Savior.

    She died in July.

    Miss you, Pookie!

  • I think I'm going to put this song on a CD for my son. Life's been tough; especially this past year. We were in a major car accident last Easter and my poor little boy almost lost his mom. He's struggling right now because dad's suddenly decided he don't want to be married any more and is leaving the household.

When our parents forsake us- God will take us up.

Through all of this - if there's one thing I know (Boo) you were never left alone - for you can always call on Jesus name.

  • @broadwayprincess What a wonderful story. this song has inspired me.

I'm glad God used her to reach her. Keep searching for his will for you and you will go far. Because God's way is the best way.

  • This song is probably my favorite song of this group and i have heard earlier stories left here on this decent side of youtube and the one of the grandmother is great. It is amazing what a great and compassionate God does with his clay.

The master potter made an impact out of this clay and a masterpiece was resulted. I am moved to tears to the lyrics of the powerful message this song brings. I pray that this song can inspire others.
