Jonathan Phelps of Westboro Bapsist Church talks about the Supreme Court and Intolerance.

The first part of this video features a standard Anti-Semetic boilerplate diatribe against "The Jews". It features Mr. Phelps entertaining thoughts of a second divine Holocaust visited upon the Nation of Israel and the Jewish people.
Mr. Phelps remarks regarding the US Supreme Court are curious: If the United States is an abomination in the eyes of God - - then why is Westboro Baptist Church seeking to defend itself in The Beast's highest court of law?
Lastly, we learn that Westboro Baptist Church believes that all calamities and consequences that befall them are simply the Tribulations visited upon the Righteous in the Lord. Any opposition to the motives and actions of WBC members as they picket and agitate - - THEY BELIEVE - - are the machinations of Supernatural Powers animating others in an Ethereal War against GOD...in which the Phelps' are merely recruiters for the Army of Heaven.

Lawsuit Against WBC (Wikipedia)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Phelps#Lawsuit_against_Westboro_Baptist_Church
On March 10, 2006, WBC picketed the funeral of Lance Cpl. Matthew A. Snyder, who died in a helicopter crash in Iraq. On June 5, 2006, the Snyder family sued Fred Phelps, WBC, and unnamed others for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. On October 31, 2007, WBC, Fred Phelps and his two daughters, Shirley Phelps-Roper and Rebekah Phelps-Davis, were found liable for invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress. A federal jury awarded Snyder's father $2.9 million in compensatory damages, then later added a decision to award $6 million in punitive damages for invasion of privacy and an additional $2 million for causing emotional distress (A total of $10. 9 million). The organization said it wouldn't change its message because of the verdict.
The lawsuit named Albert Snyder, father of Matthew Snyder, as the plaintiff and Fred W. Phelps, Sr.; Westboro Baptist Church, Inc.; Rebekah Phelps-Davis; and Shirley Phelps-Roper as defendants, alleging that they were responsible for publishing defamatory information about the Snyder family on the Internet, including statements that Albert and his wife had "raised [Matthew] for the devil" and taught him "to defy his Creator, to divorce, and to commit adultery." Other statements denounced them for raising their son Catholic. Snyder further complained the defendants had intruded upon and staged protests at his son's funeral. The claims of invasion of privacy and defamation arising from comments posted about Snyder on the Westboro website were dismissed on First Amendment grounds, but the case proceeded to trial on the remaining three counts.
3:00 "Most intolerant bunch of people in this country..." The irony is astounding.

@ThisIsVeryFakeAndGay Thanks for getting that far. He thinks he's being persecuted as Christ's proxy. "I want to jump up and down!"

@milkweed93 Nah, I used to think that would be Sarah Palin, but now I'm leaning on Michele Bachmann.
Jonathan Phelps is a victim of lifelong spiritual, physical and (reportedly) psycho-sexual abuse at the hands of his family. He's is a seriously conflicted and emotionally scared individual with pathological conditioning to continue and expand his personal abuse cycle.

This is just like how one violent gamer can shoot up a school and make them all look bad.
People, not all Christians are like this, but its depressing to see how many crazy people are out there ruining our name.

@sgtThundersmack Yeah, I hate when violent gamers do that. (???)
