Cobain wasnt the most talented guy out there. Not the best looking, and not a great guitar player. He was, however, original. I'd rather listen to him than a lot of other "artists" because what he did worked.and he was a welcome relief from the polished synth sounds and arena rock that infested the airwaves at the time.Too bad this sweet old martin lies under glass unplayed.Wish Kurt was still around to play it.

i have an acoustic raven guitar which looks alot like this one here,it is signed by kurt and krist and dave, got it off ebay in 2002,its authentic and is certified to be the real deal, with c.o.a. and l.o.c. it was signed at the roseland in new york city in july of 93'..but it was a fans guitar that was signed iu dont own a guitar that belonged too kurt..that would be killer if i did though! :)

@64donpro ur a fucking idiot, seriously

To each his own: Curt Cobain was no guitarist worthy of any praise. Quite frankly I wouldnt have anything that he used. A highly overated, under talented druggie on a depression kick nothing more!!

for unplugged kurt used a martin d18e. same thing but an acoustic/electric.

@BigBugBuzz I lost track of the one he played on Unplugged. I ran across an acoustic forum today where someone claimed it's for sale again. Sorry, I'm not much help.

this was not kurt's guitar it was mary lou lord's guitar...also played by elliott smith which is super cool but not it was not kurts
Kurt Cobain played it upside down..
Kurt Cobain was also a god to the music community and to some people. He changed music and if it wasn't for him, most of this new stuff wouldn't be here! So stop dissing Kurt. He had inner demons, it's understandable. He inspired me to play guitar. So, Are you gunna dis me?
