  • His hands are in a lot of places and the answers to our questions are out there. I do love your candidness!

  • If you continue to stay open and doubt, God will show you the truth at some point in your life. The fact that you're doubting until there is proof - that's a good thing. Everyone turns to God at their own time. The proof that you seek will be given to you at some point in your life. You will be blessed.

  • The fact that you took time to post suggests that there is still hope for you. God loves you and He created you for good reason. Isn't life truly empty without Him, even with all the pleasures the world offers? I was a drug addict for a long time, deeply buried in my sin and selfishness, and yet He still took me back. I was even raised in a Christian home, and rebelled against His calling me, and still, He saved even me. Try reading the book of John with a truly open mind, and God will speak.

  • Let me put my fingers in the holes in his hands, let me put my hand in the thorn in his side, and i will believe... my obstacle: Thomas. Your message is beautiful. My doubt is forever, there is no choice, unless he gives me his hands, so that i might put my fingers in the holes, and if he shows me his sides, to let me put my hands in the thorns. He will not do that, and you will not convince me. I am the true non believer.

  • Andy is one of the world's great communicators. He can present very difficult theology (especially for a non-Christian) in clear, concise teaching that is more like a conversation than a sermon. This series "It's Personal" is essential for people who are not Christians. Check it out.

  • Your talk still starts out assuming a god. Shouldn't you assume no god then build an argument?

  • Hi, I am from peru and i'm happy to learn the word of God :) God bless you God bless North Point Church :D

  • People of faith, whether they be Christan, Hindu, or Animist, ALL seem to find there faith in much the same way: they inherit the faith. They're indoctrinated when too young to be critical and from a family and community that typically shelters the child from being taught about other religion myths. That's the reason why you find Christians bunched up in one region of the world, Hindus in another, and Buddhists somewhere else. They are born there, not swayed by the power of evidence.

  • It seems the subject of this talk is: it doesn't matter if it's true or not as long as it feels good. As long as you feel comforted. I don't think it's a very honest approach. If I spent a significant part of my life dedicated to Christianity, I'd very much need someone like this to help make me feel good about that decision too. But this type of rationalization is the basis of cult formation .. a dangerous road to follow.
