Here's a short scripture song I learned back in 1985 at a time I was learning a lot about what the Lord requires of me. This song pretty well sums it up. Do what's right and just, be merciful to others and yourself because we're all going to fall short of each others' expectations to say nothing of God's ideal, and knowing this, we should always walk humbly.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
And what doth the Lord require of thee,
But to do justly, and to love mercy,
And to walk humbly with thy God?

  • I had a friend read this to me today to help me with some concerns I had about my life. What a coincedence to see it now.

  • @MattWeird Amazing how that happens, isn't it? I believe in divine coincidences!

  • This served as a reminder to me to be more thankful for the righteous God who created us. Thanks.
