...... cut the top off? roll the top down? instead of crushing the chips on the bottom, he could have just opened the bag slightly to release the air, and flip the bag upsidedown so that the chips are where the tiny air-releasing hole is, crumple the bottom upwards then turn the bag rightside up. this way he doesn't crumble the bottom chips
