The Keening tells the story of David Campbell, a man who believes he can see banshees. A young woman died in David's arms - David believed it was a banshee that killed her, no one believes him and David is institutionalized.

After David's release from the mental institution David's friend Paul tries to help him settle back into life, however the banshee and a mysterious figure in a white mask comes back to haunt David in a new and more terrifying way.
