  • @laokram there are none so Deaf as those that wont listen.....

  • EU = Enslavement Union

  • @1225MAGNA He sure does, wish more would hear his message

  • @Lenangreal I agree 100%. What is necessary in greece and from what you're saying in italy too, is a change of mentality, and an increase in the political awarness of the population in order to see more worthy politicians in goverments.

That being said though, i think the EU is currently off-track and serious changes have to be made at this level too. What was supposed to be a union based upon a common culture and international solidarity, has become all about economy, so it's destined to fail

  • @riqyl32 Well italy is in the same situation.. its all our fault (both population and politicians). The people with the assent of politicians thought this situation was good (tipical lack of forward-looking) and these are the consequences. Of course the politicians are fuckers, but it is just one part of the probem.. the other is the mentality. Same for greece. I wouldnt blame the germans, theyre the most efficient nation in europe so we should just learn from them.

  • @Lenangreal ...Since we have a democracy, it was up to the greek people to realise what was actually happening (that the 2 main parties put their election 1st and the country 2nd).

Can you imagine the political awareness and maturity it would take for a voter to vote for the one who would raise taxes instead of the one who promised everything?

So you can't put all the blame to the people. The corrupted politicians are the most responsible, and I only explained about 20% of what they did...

  • @Lenangreal There are 2 main parties in greece, a "socialist" and a conservative one. During the 80's and the 90's, in order to win the elections, the socialist party kept promising tax-cuts, wage raises etc. despite that the country couldn't afford it. The conservative party, knowing that doing the opposite would cost them the elections, played the same game. So you had people voting for whoever promised the most. Europe saw this, but kept lending to greece. Lending means profit.

    ......

  • @Lenangreal i couldnt agree more

  • @itachiitachi1946 greeks lived beyond their possibilities so its all their fault.
