  • The People need the same Health Care as the People thay Elect.......

  • @grnbbllntrck - If you are talking about Canada and their taxes that pay for their healthcare, remember that their wages are about double then in the US. Also, If a Canadian decides to get treatment in the United States, the Canadian government pays for it. Like I have said 100 times before, by the time my Grandson turns 18, I hope he has to look in a history book to find out what a private insurance company WAS!

  • Who cares? I have nice breasts. Take that, Obama!

  • A "pro" of HCR: the hard-working, diligent taxpayer now has the forced "pleasure" of paying for John Q. Potsmoker's cigarette induced COPD and obesity-related blood pressure / diabetes. Now, 16 year old Susie B. Slutsenwhore can have prenatal care (including pregnancy "options") for her 3rd kid and WIC handed to her by people who themselves can't have children

  • If there were an 800 number where health care professions could be fully protected and rewarded (cash) for reporting abuses we could save billions.

  • @phillipmarch22 that's not exactly correct. our government will only cover what it would cost in canada. for example a stay in an american hospital costs $4000 for 2 nights but a stay in a canadian hospital for 2 nights costs $400. Therefore, the government will only cover $400 if you stay in america and you're in charge of the rest which is $3600. Again, it's only an example and the reason why we're cheaper is because our gov. negotiate for price...

  • @alkap6633 The middle class is who suffers now. They are the people who are not poor enough for "assistance" but not rich enough to afford private insurance because insurance companies make it so expensive.

  • The only people that will get hurt is the middle class

  • @Derekrife I like that

  • here is one idea. If anyone commits insurance fraud, first offense, throw you in prison for like 10-20 years, then when released, you will be banned from anykind of insurance, including health care. If anyone who has been banned tries to get insurance, anykind including healthcare, that person would go back to jail for another 10-20 years. Put this on every news station, and every newspaper and tell the people "This hear is your warning." One strike and you are done.

  • Should we solve that by getting government involved, force people to buy insurance under penalty of prison, and call it 'giving them free insurance', or should we provide tax breaks to the charitable organizations providing free medical care to those who can't afford it so they can expand their reach? It's not about whether people should have access to healthcare but whether we want to create criminals or expand freedom.
