The Gone Dead Train ......King Solomon Hill

His real name was Joe Holmes and he recorded six songs (and two 2nd takes) January 1932 in Grafton Wisconsin .He played slide with a cow bone.
Two of his records were only discovered in 2002

I aint been on here for quite a while, too busy.

I been in dobells once, bought a few in 1970,s mostly had to get stuff via mail.

Eventually got around 650 or so LPs, invaluable collection from early country bluesto late 50,s and a bit beyond, + lts or real R & B, not todays junk.

Love King Solomon, better than some of the big names too me.

Yeah those ole cardboard covers, shots of The South in the 1920, superb. Im in West Yorks, UK.
