Rome Total War - The Siege of Damme

Please notice the following things:

- This battle is fictional
- Sorry for the black information balloons you'll notice in the movie. I forgot to eliminate them.
- The scènes were captured in the replay mode.
- I used the RTR mod. In my opinion the best RTW mod. ever made.

----+ The story +----

This battle originally took place in the campaign mode. The balance between force was great I noticed, but it was too late to capture it on film. And if I managed to capture it live, it would have been a film from a 'tactical view'. So I re-created the battle in the custom battle mode, With the ability to capture the best scènes.

----+ The Battle +----

This is a little explenation that might help to understand the film (as far that is neccesarily).

The film starts with some views on the barbarian city. The romans start the siege by breaking down the walls with their ballista's. The romans commence the attack and some skirmishing follows. The romans now enter the city and the battle begins. The barbarians flee... The first battle is won by the romans. The flee until they meet other troops to support them. The longest part of the battle was fought out here. The romans finnally win and march to the city center killing every barbarian on the way. In the meantime the general and his cavalry try to charge the defenders in the city center from the other side. This action finished the battle.

i found RTR a huge let down, it isnt that realistic, for 1 theres no testudo, no onagers, the legions dont have loricas, i know early Legions were chainmail but later legions did have loricas. and after Gaius Marius theres like a tiny selection, of troop types, there isnt even any spear men or light infantry, its a huge let down, although if any1 knows any fixes or answers u know im all ears
