I first recorded this on mandolin some time ago - just after I'd first learned it - which was too soon. Looked at it recently and didn't like it so I've re-recorded it again after playing it many, many times since then.

New tunes can be so tantalising sometimes that I just want to get my own take on them down on record as soon as possible! A little patience is sometimes required... "Westphalia Waltz" is an old-timey type waltz, though I'm sure its origins are probably in Europe. I was brought to this tune by the wonderful playing of Stephen Bennett on harp-guitar - which you should watch on YouTube - sublime!
