This was a dyno run we did with our 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster intage race car. We ran it up to 7300 RPM. this car has a good midrange engine and makes 146 Peak HP at 6660 rpm. more info http://emorymotorsports.com/vintage/RichardsSpeedster.htm

  • what a great sound, what motor type IV?

  • It is a 356C engine with JE 1620cc pistons, a Neutec SX3 Cam, Gearhead remanufactured Distributor & Carbs,Full flow oil system, Scat crank, and Carillo Rods.

  • Please tell the top rpm??

  • We ran it to 7100 RPM.

    Too bad I never put in enough seat time to drive it well...

    As to the stinger exhaust, yeah its a race car and that is how they all go when looking for max hp AND the need for noise abatement at many tracks now. You do get measured and dq'd if you are too loud so you run those on the tracks you need to.

    btw, NOT a replica but the real deal... pre A.
