@Nojnotpu But did she really love him? I have seen the auction list. Would you really allow your loved ones soiled underwear to be included.? i can tell you, it is there in the list.

@Nojnotpu I always thought Pat Howson was quite generous, even though George left everything to her she offered George's family a settlement which they refused which forced the sale of all of Georges property which went all over the world and after several years of legal wrangling which used up a far bit of George's money a judge awarded the family more or less the same as Pat had offered, when she died in 1971 she made sure that all royalties to charity.

This is from George's last ever performance. it was a wonderful, but totally sad, one-man television show, in which he poured out his heart about his life He could be seen reduced to tears, on a couple of occasions, when talking about his dad and also when saying how grateful he was to Beryl for "doing all the business " for him. Beryl was dead by then and he had announced his engangement to Pat Howsen. Within three weeks from the showing of this programe, George was dead.
