Very Old Swords is a song that Neil "Kowboy" Wiger started working on in 1990. It sat on the back burner for years but LOKI STRIKE (as a band unit) offer's it to you in 440 stainless steel perfection. Kowboy does the spoken word narration at the begining. The rest... is instrumental epic type metal with solos that would make John Christ's mother proud. Theme wise the title and narrative is paying homeage to the Viking sword found outside of Ulen, Minnesota and the Kensington Runestone. We wanted to make a dedication to our bands Norske ancestors... Namely the Vikings.

*The occultish sexy blonde who appears in the slide show is a friend of the bands, Jinx Dawson .... vocalist for the band COVEN ....
