YouTube Player Aspect Ratio Fix (Crop/Stretch)

You can now change the dimensions of your older/current videos to fit perfectly into YouTube's widescreen video player without a software program!

Make sure you copy and past this text into your keywords in the order it is now:

yt:stretch=4:3 yt:crop=16:9 yt:quality=high

If you do this for all of your videos, most every one of them should fit perfectly in YouTube's video player.

Make sure you review your video entirely once you use this feature, as it may crop more than you want ~ in which case you'll want to use this code: yt:stretch=16:9 yt:quality=high

Not only does it make everything too tall or too wide, it also makes the video distorted.

To understand what I mean by that, imagine what happens if an object rotates with respect to the screen.

The object appears to deform as it rotates.

It's hideous -- and mathematically incorrect.

Unfortunately people are complete idiots and refuse to fix their videos even though they are in wrong aspect ratio. People would rather avoid black borders, than having correct aspect ratio, despite it looking like shit because everything is either too tall or too wide.

I've tried switching from 4:3 to 16:9 in windows movie maker. Instead of two black bars on either side, I get small black borders on all sides and up and down
