it was just an image stream carefully animated, to turn it invisible i just masked the visible one to show a duplicate layer underneath with displacement map.

What do mean by 'Image Stream'? Picture off google? stock?

i just used some images i made quickly on photoshop - if i were doing a serious effects reel or a film, i would have spent far more time...
Oh and be careful about using other peoples imgs off google, make sure you have the copyright to use them.
