@chuckd5usa I'm not surprised he felt that way - although he wrote many wonderful songs. This is definitely my favorite track on Dan's Christmas album.

Thanks for posting this. Dan's Christmas album is a very much under-recognized treasure, and this is one of my favorite cuts from it.
It was such a tragedy to lose Dan so soon. I'm glad he left us this Christmas gift.

Very nice, comforting Christmas images. I discovered this album of Dan's only 3 years ago which means I lost almost a decade of enjoying it! Since then it is the first thing I play to start the Christmas season. Thank you for posting!

Dan's beautiful voice, singing praises to God for His Son's Birth in "The First Christmas Morning." I'm sure Dan is with his Heavenly Father now. Such a perfect time of the year to listen to Dan sing this beautiful song. Gone, but still with us through his One Of A Kind Dan Voice and his beautiful music.
