Homage to Edward Munch - The Scream

This animation was drawn frame by frame, and filmed with a videocamera on a SVHS animation desk, back in the times of analog video. It never touched a computer until I digitized it to put it on this platform.

It was made in Cislehurst, London during my studies in Ravensbourne College of visual design.

The Man in the movie is having fun in the beginning, then he starts taking the game way too serious. The game develops its own life and on his part istarts making fun of the player with grimaces and by hiding the last part of the puzzle. The player does not bear that he cannot complete the puzzle and in his agony, desperation or madness becomes part of the scream, a picture by edward munch depicted on the puzzle.
