hi i love your vids and have made a bowdrill of my own but no matter how long i spin for i can barley get my hearth warm nevermind create dust.

@live2fish1000 You either have the wrong wood combo.. or you need a Lot more pressure and speed.

@RJBURG To my understanding.. (although I have never used Chaga) You can put a hand drill right into the fungus and it will light it

What kind of wood would you utilize if your out in the wilderness and making it from scratch?

@IXIslimjimIXI Any medium hard dead wood. Premium would be Willow, Aspen, Poplar, Cedar, Basswood, etc. Pines generally DO NOT work well.. if at all. They have too much resin.
