I noticed that ME/John did not allow REG/Van to leave until things was OK between the two of them. REG/Van kept saying she had a meeting with Antonio,and told John to forget about what he said. He really wanted their relationship to work.

The irony of this scene is that he should have listened to her and accepted her help! It turns out Nick was one of the KC Killers and this scene happened months before the police eventually figured it out. Way to go, Evangeline!
