YMCA Safe Place - Shelter House Tour

We know sometimes teens just need a place to stayto get away from their troubles, talk to a caring adult, or even to get off the streets. Shelter House is our 24-hour help center for teens ages 12 to 17. Its the only shelter just for teens in Louisville, and the only place youth can access free preventative help services around the clock with no outside agency referral. Those that voluntarily stay with us find a comfortable living environmentactivity areas, separate dorms, private study roomsand a friendly staff ready to help any way they can.
