(Part 3) I fully apprciate how very very difficult it must be to be a police officer. I certainly do not think I could ever do that job. I just do not understand why he was so enraged and out of control towards me. My wife was shocked. This type of behavior only underminds civilian respect towards police officers and perpetuates the "bad cops myth"....notice i said "myth". I am afraid to drive down Chesnut street now.

(Part 2) well I guess I was wrong and that did not mean to proceed. I opened my window to "apologize".....saying that I thought he mean't for me to go when he rotated his hand. He then verbally laid into me telling me not to give him any my crap "and I knew what I did". The out of control rage on his face was frightening. I honestly thought he was going to pull me out of my car and beat me "for apologizing" to him.

(Part 1) I had a really disturbing encounter with a Newton police officer today (5 /18/ 2010 @ 11:45 am who was working a detail at some road construction on Chesnut street between Newton Upper Falls & Waban. He signaled me to stop, which i did, then he turns around, his back to me and twirls his hand around in circles behind his back......which I assumed mean't for me to proceed.
