  • @ErnieHollerhagen I'm entirely your opinion. With its jazzy and distinguished sound it was one of the first orchestras which enlightened my interest in swing music.

  • This was such a swinging band, and a direct successor in style of Jean Goldkette's orchestra, that it's neglect by jazz historians is quite strange.
