Very good big-picture intuitive advice. Excellent principles. Thanks Steve.

hi steve! hope your recovering! I'm doing cardio 4-5 times a week, was also doing yoga those days, just started weight training (4 days a week) but my trainer said I shouldn't do yoga more than 2 times a week. Can it hurt me to keep doing the same 4-5 times a week that I've been doing for a year?

Workout full body 2 days? Your going go be in the gym all day long not to mention overtrain!

So, is it always a good idea to work out the whole body on the same day or is it better to work out one group (maybe two) each day?

Hey Steve, I'm just curious as to where, what, and how to start (not about lifting) it's just so many programmes say "train upper body monday, fri, lower wednesday and rest and swap 2nd week so you do lower twice. I'm watching this and wondering if all body is best in the beginning then what weight is a good starting point? cheers for now!!

@TheCobraUK Lots of FREE exercise pictures and audio exercise files on my site. Training the entire body 2-3 times a week using weight you can handle for 8-10 reps for 3-4 set ONCE warmed-up is a good way to start.

It means you're getting in shape. Now it's time to increase the intensity. More weight, more sets, more exercises, more reps or any combination of these. When I relaunch my site in the next 2 weeks I'll have free exercises you can download. I'll also have downloadable audio workout files for $0.99. Remember, it just takes consistent effort, smart training and perseverance, patience and faith. Train hard! ~Steve

Thanks! Relaunching my site in April. Some parts will be free and the rest will cost only $20 a month. Not bad to be able to have an expert as your guide. Beats $60 an hour!
