I wouldn't go that far, not saying anyone is stronger. The game is meant to be balanced. Though, I think story-wise, they tried to show WOL and Squall as top fighters. This is what I've heard, don't kill the messenger? Yeah, don't kill Selphie.

@Oriolis I actually have a pretty good excuse for that. Long ago in a house a few blocks away, I was watching FMA on my friend's T.V. and my other friend was watching the Japanese naruto on the internet. I then fell asleep and didn't watch either of the series for over a year. Then I posted that comment. I must've sounded pretty dumb, huh? XD

Squall beats WoL in both stories, so yeah squall is more of a fighter. Also he has darkness in him, like cecil. Squall also is a much better fighter than Cloud, and possess better stats.
