I have bought this mic the af metre on receiver goes up but on hand held mic the af metre doesn't show and I dont here sound when plugged into mixer any info thanks

@snapascrew i have the handheld and you shouldn't have to set the squelch unless when you turn the body pack or handheld unit off you get noise out of the reciever

i'm a dj in a club i only work sat nights and speak ont the mic every 10 mis or so. my friend is a full time dj and had this same unit for yrs with no problems. so before i get charged a lot of money getting it fixed is there anything i'm doing wrong or anything i can do to fix it. it was wroking one minute the next it wasnt. i found your video very very helpful. so thank you. Basically there is no AF SIGNAL EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN HERE MY VOICE COMING THROUGH AND LOTS OF INTERFERENCE.

hi my new ew 100 g2 that you have in this video after 6 weeks has broke. it was working fine i have looked after it and not dropped it at all. and i cannot get a AF signal on the monitors plus lots of interference. i fi hold the mic further down toward the battery pack led readout the interference noise gets louder. my voice sounds bad now coming through like something has really gone wrong with it.

Sennheiser im thinking about getting this unit for my guitar, I was wondering what I would set the squelch to, I have a noise suppressor in front of my amp that does it's job fantastic so I wouldn't want the sennheiser suppressing any noise at all because I'm already doing that my self what would I set it too?
