I deleted my previous comments, because I thought they could be miss interpreted.
I left the paragraph about the way to motivate someone to your argument, because it is the least realized fact. I KNOW what question most Atheists truly are asking... bottom line is, why doesn't God show himself. The question is very valid, in fact extremely valid.

You have some good points about theories and truth seeking, but you are limiting God to the Christian-based biblical God. Maybe God is something more or different than what is described in the Bible. As a non-religious theist, I believe that God created the earth and the theory of evolution is correct. Science has it right, they simply cannot detect God. Does that make me stupid?

@gsco82 what is your evidence for that belief? I don't think you are stupid but I thik your belief in god is stupid. If I told you I belief magic fairies created everything and we just simply cant detect them wouldnt you ask me for what is my justification of that belief. And if my answer was well it had to all come from nothing and something had to do it so therefore fairies. would you think my belief as justified? there is no evidence other then ignorance that points to god
