this is probably the more accurate part of the movie. where ray starts messing with the keyboard trying to get the right sound. that was actually documented in john densmore's book. and them hitting up the london fog and making there way to the whisky. the rest of the film is extremley exagerated. jim was an alcoholic, but he wasn't fucking retarded half the time which this movie made him out to be. i think oliver stone did good casting and directed it well though despite parts being false

Yeah, I think that if the movie had a much better script, Kilmer would've still been the ideal choice

kilmer definitly has the drunk jim down, but the movie only portrays morrisons bad side. i have typed this comment so many times.
