  • Great job. Glad to see people can see the true beauty of the north ( not the weather) going there next week. Can't wait.

  • Beautiful sunsets hun, I absolutely love sunsets.

  • Nice! That brings back memories, I was a geotech for BHP up there in 1998.

The camp looks like it has changed a lot for the better. We were sleeping in weatherhavens, and using outhouses during the Winter drill program. Boston had a nice hard camp at the time.

That is one fat Sic Sic!

  • Yes, Johnny was there in 2004, but longer there. All the other guys are no-longer there as well. The place has changed from that of the BHP days.

  • Yeah, it would be tough to economically mine that deposit.

Is Johnny Q. the Inuit camp manger still up there, with his girlfriend Tracey the cook? They were awesome!

As well as; Jimmy, George, David, Allan, and Jako.

  • No, I was working for Miramar Mining - Hope Bay Mining Limited. The Wolverine Camp is no-longer there. Windy might be upgraded in years to come, but relocated from current location. The current state of world economic determines which way the project heads.

  • You aren't a biologist working for Rescan are you?

There was a couple of guys up there in '98 doing environmental monitoring. I was staying at Wolverine Camp and working at the Windy Lake Camp.

  • Yes, the camp has changed a lot. Windy is no longer operational as Doris Camp has openned last year. Boston is still fuctional. There are more ppl there now then it used to be.

Thanks for take ing you time to watch the clips.

    matt
