  • I finally bought one. I didn't receive it yet, but one of my first tests of it will be to use pads such as this do the background of Pink Floyd's Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Other synths I also own and use are Yamaha EX7, E-mu B-3, Waldorf MWII, Kurzweil K2000R and Alesis Ion. Mine was the last post on here 8 months ago, and here I am again...back for more inspiration. :-) Thanks.

  • @brofjw

I have sold my K5000 last week. But I like this synth.

  • This is very beautiful the way you used these pads here. I've veen attracted to this synth for a long time. But I also wonder, is it capable of making sounds which are more melodic? Leads, etc? Things which are more plunky and funky?

  • The K5000 can sound very cold and harsh. Very nice pads and crisp lead sounds. No warm analog like sounds!

  • danke für 3:46 Entspannung...PUR !!!

    5 von 5 Sterne*****

  • gern geschehen

    danke :)

  • Really underratted synth. Very powerful and full of character

  • I have several of these. Through a decent reverb, these are just dynamite. Start straying from pads, and most synth fans have will absolutely no idea what you're using; they're very unique!

  • Is it hard to program? - they usually are these Rack synths (I own a Kurzweil2000R - and my shoulders ache after a programming session with the old monster :-)

  • EXTRA ******

  • I got one 3 months ago and added the ME-1 card to it got that from Germany.
