  • I praise your dedication, groovemonzter, for posting this segment of the flip side of the "Sweet Banana" album, but the piece de resistance of the whole album is the second segment. To understand juju music it is vital to see the cardinal role of dance; very often the dance element throws the musicians themselves out of whack, and it is the masters, e.g. Sunny Ade, who are able to rise above the dance floor and make music that caters primarily to the senses. That's what the next segment offers.

  • I wish youtube didn't limit me to ten minutes. I'll be posting the whole song on my blog. Soon come. Stay tuned.
