@maltcus i havent tried audio recording in reason yet. i just know sonar is a lot more powerful for audio recording because of v-vocal

How do you get the loops to replay after a couple measures instead of playing the tune the whole time?

@MrDrger there is a loop feature on sonar. if you go to the tool bar you should see a button that sets the loop and location of the set points. Its kinda hard to explain. Its very easy to set. I think on one of my other sonar videos I show you how 2 set it.

do you suggest sonar over Reason? if you had to pick just one to make a beat

@nvus I would choose Sonar. Now don't get me wrong I like Reason. I only tried Reason 3. I did not like the drum sampler Vs NI Battery. That was one of it biggest cause for me not to what to use it. Dimension pro and Rapture is a amazon to use. Besides one day you will need a audio recorder why not just get Sonar. I know reason have a recorder now. How does it compare to Sonar?

@Rezin603 yes. if you are using USB to send midi you need to be asking yourself does your midi controller works with your computers Operating system. XP, Vista win 7 etc... If its a older controller and you have win 7 then it may not
