Thanks for posting these vids of this particular truck. I just picked up 2 on clearance and it's good to see what they can do. I'll have to learn to waterproof them. One of the controllers is like you describe, so thanks for the idea to clean it out.

got mine same one and every thing stock the controllers needs te be really close to it to work IT LOOKS BETTER THEN IT IS

Take the controller apart and clean the contacts works much better make sue that both vehicle and transmiter ant are all the way up.
