Small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy. But President Obama's comments last week show that he just doesn't understand who the real job creators are. How can he help small businesses when he doesn't even recognize their value?

Evidently those who are stating that Republicans are idiots don't have a small business. More so, how their small business has taken a dive from these past four years... But one thing is wrong with Obama, I did build my business and not the government that so many of you (cough, cough) Democrats depend upon.

If you listen to everything he said, he was making the argument for MORE government involvement in our lives, not less. The federal government does not build businesses or create private sector jobs. It can only stand in the way.

If the federal government sold all the stock they owned in GM, it would crash the company. Any company can make a profit if you strong arm the creditors into taking pennies on the dollar. GM is not out of the woods at all. Aside for that, it is BAD policy for the government to buy up a bunch of stock to keep a single company in business. How about all the folks that lost their jobs when the government decided to close down dealerships?

It hasn't paid off? That's funny, because right now GM is still in business, is still one of the largest automotive companies in the world, AND is actually turning profits...

Lol what? In context, Obama was simply alluding to the age old adage "it takes a village to raise a child." Hell, Romney went off and made the same allusion during a speech about America's Olympic athletes shortly after this ad aired. So... that make's him a hypocrite, and you a right-wing extremist (which, might I add, is just as bad as a communist but on the other end of the spectrum).

IN context, this is exactly what the President meant. He is using the well worn socialist argument for MORE government and less free enterprise.

The law has already "kick in" in many aspects. Companies are forced to cover preventative tests and screening now. There is no evidence that insurance companies were dumping people for having a costly illness. Obviously, you cannot wait until you have been diagnosed with something expensive and expect an insurance company to take you. What does getting federal money have to do with the issue? Their workers have never had the benefit and they knew that when they took the job. It is politics!

If you are a Catholic organization, hospital, and college, you are being forced to provide contraceptives and abortions to your employees in violation of your deepest held beliefs. No one is saying employees cannot use contraceptives. The issue is over forcing religious groups to PAY for them. He did not help the auto industry. He took over GM, and forced the bond holders to eat the debt created by the UAW, and then gave a large percentage of the company to the union. It has not paid off.
