Fiberglass bodied (aka "Res-o-Glas") guitar made for English Electronics by Valco c. 1964. Same features as a Supro Rhythm-Tone (the second pickup is INSIDE the bridge). Plugged into a cranked '59 Supro 1633.

  • Do you know if that is a single coil or humbucker? I know a lot of the old Valco's, etc had single coils in humbucker housing. Either way, I'm seriously digging your tone!

  • @ian6511 Hey Ian, thanks.

Valco never made a humbucking pickup...and yeah, they all sound like that!

  • Is that Junior Kimbrough you're playing?

  • @xdanielle182x - no, but there's some RL Burnside licks in there somewhere. LOVE Kimbrough's music, though, my band plays a bunch of his songs.

  • @airline59 I got a 61 Supro and it loves the Big Muff. Wait a minute, you know what I mean.

  • Very nice. Love those old guitars and Supro amps. Sounds great!

  • I mean the original. I have one of each. Very different animals. The Valco Airline is a great sounding guitar. i have been running it through a Vox AC4 and it sounds great.

    It loves the Big Muff.
