Glad this speech was posted. It gives the whole context of his words, which I sensed the mainstream media was distorting. Obama is genuine and if elected as president, will be a man of his word. My concern is that the Powers behind the scenes will try to politically or literally assasinate him. Jesse Ventura has publically stated this on CNN recently, and I agree with him. He just backhanded the American steel industry by changing the "made in America" stipulation on all steel used in construction on all projects in his "stimulus package." McCain is the Rep nominee.

Obama is the Dem nominee.

What do you say we make McCain President and Obama VP. In 4 years McCain does not run again and Obama becomes the president.

That allows us 4 years to get Iraq in order and we give Obama 4 years of seasoning.

I think that is the ideal solution.
