Why does megaman 7 and 8 get so much hate? While not as good as earlier ones, they both are great games in their own right. In fact megaman 8 was why I bought the anniversary collection.

You can't shoot as fast on wily wars, the bullets are slower.

What he left out is that the MMAC also had those MM arcade games which were never released in the US. Probably not as cool as that "wily tower," but it did have new content in addition to the old games. That, and I liked 7; never understood why so many people consider it to be easy. All 4 of the Wily stages were difficult (especially the second fight with Bass), not just the last one.

I really wish Megaman 8 had a little more respect. Sure the voice acting was questionable, but voice acting was still in it's infancy. The game itself was pretty awesome.

The thing I hated about Mega Man 8 when it came out was his voice, the game was pretty good though

@omastar444 i think its because you can only chose 4 bosses instead of 8, and the voice acting is terrible in mm8 and its way too easy, megaman 7 i think is because of its extremely hard end boss to outherwise an easy game... Though i love love them i think they are excelent lattformers. And they are extremly underrated
