Timewave Zero 2012 - the final installment (animation begins at 1:30)
This video was created primarily to serve as a reference for those wanting to view Terence McKenna's Timewave Zero graph for any particular day during 2012 - the final year graphed by the program. This video does not purport to teach McKenna's Novelty Theory nor even how to use the program, there are many other videos available with in depth knowledge and information that do just that.
I have created these animations over the last few years as a result of my curiosity, research, and my discovery of the need for there to be an easier way to view the graph in a more holistic way, rather than accessing DOS (a dying system) and calling up specific dates and viewing fine slices of time, one at a time.
These animations are created by literally photographing my computer in a darkened room. I set my camera on a tripod and programmed it take a photo every 13 seconds while I call up each date manually. I then corrected those files in photoshop and created a timelapse that shows the entire year in motion. It really helped me get a sense of what the program was meant to convey, and I hope it has had a similar affect on you.

Text from the video:
..."all boundaries are beginning to dissolve - boundaries of space and time - and everything is beginning to coalesce into some kind of organometallic-human-machine-cultural-spiritual-material interphasing amoeboid something that is spreading like a coral reef around the planet." ~ Terence McKenna, Spacetime Tsunami
The Timewave carries with it the notion that the universe and time itself are fundamentally fractal in nature and that human history is interwoven within this structure via a thread of ebb and flow.
That historical thread follows the fractal spiral along the ever-tightening curve towards the center, the singularity. It tracks the increasing connectivity of the human species, or novelty.
Timewave Zero marks the point where we as a species cross the event horizon of connectivity, at which point we will find ourselves to be so completely connected, we form one cohesive mind, and the small actions of one can steer the future of all.
Zero point is expected to occur December 21, 2012. The following is an animation of Terence McKenna's Timewave graph for the year 2012.
"The ways of the Creator are not our ways, Mr. Deasy said. All human history moves towards one great goal, the manifestation of God." ~ James Joyce, 'Ulysses'

As you all may know, the graph ends this December but I can assure you this signals no end. It marks a fundamental shift in our nature and experience within this 3D reality, and represents the event horizon where the nature of everything beyond zero is decided upon. The increasing interconnectedness of humanity will place us all on a set path towards the future. Please choose that path wisely.
Thank you for watching.
Question to the sages: does the rate of descent any faster near the last few weeks than any other time, or is it just the proximity to "zero" that is different ?
superdiza 3 weeks ago
@superdiza - the rate of descent flows in direct proportion to proximity, like approaching a black hole. I feel the zero point McKenna refers to is more of an event horizon (point of no return) rather than the singularity itself.
