This has been a disaster
Like 1816
A year without summer
I couldn't see much further
Than that clouds that are hanging over

The golden sunsets are
Weighed down and spectacular
We hold on to
The beauty of it

Beat down and suntanned
It doesn't suit you
Be glad for the gloom
It's all we knew

This has been a disaster
I couldn't run much further
A fleeting sense of romance
Art is my only stance
