What about overseas calls ?

I've had one for almost 3 years, and I absolutely LOVE it. Works just fine. Plus, I love the fact that the voicemail also gets sent to my email. HIGHLY recomended.

im in mexico and use the magicjack to call friends and family from the states. i think its baddd asssss cause its real cheap. my people know they can call me it also has voice mail i think its just real cool. its good for people who travel out of the country. just as long as you have internet where ever you are. even if you dont travel that much just buy it and keep it on the side for when you do travel.

Nice product. Just got it yesterday. The only downside I have is there are no prefixes available in my area. So if my neighbor were to call me, it would be considered long distance. If a local prefix does become available down the road, there is a 1 time $10 fee to change the phone number.
Even if you don't have magicjack most people have cordless phones. if the power goes out your fucked anyways. Thats why you have a cell phone.
