you can tell there is a jazz background here. As articulate as it is, she has swing, not just magnificent technique. Notice the ease even though it is percussive. She makes it seem effortless and it must be since her legs are crossed! I couldn't play Twinkle, Twinkle with crossed legs!!!! Another good performance is Shan Shan Sun's, Her fingers fly as well, but Valerie makes it look and sound fun.

Almost looks like it's been sped up..... If it hasn't then fair shout, in the top recordings of this piece on you tube. Shame about the recording quality, piano sounds like something out of the corner of the pub! T.
