  • This is both a lovely model and a well filmed video, thank you for putting it on Youtube.

I've read through the comments below, and intrigued to find a HO model was available. I have seen a plastic kit available too, but as far as I know it has little accuracy.

What would be the best way to about procuring a D51 of this standard, or is there a way to building one from scratch?

Hello. Thank you for watching my video and for leaving me a comment.

I am afraid Tenshodo's D51 is all sold out but once in while they put one on auction. There are some manufactures making D51 in brass, but they are very very expensive and I can not afford it.

  • That's an amazing model. Is there any way to buy these particular models online, no matter where you live?

Hello.Thank you for watching my video.

This is one of the brother-engines of "Hiro" of "Thomas family".

I checked up the factory stock of this locomotive but all are sold out. I searched on "Yahoo auction,Japan" and found a engine. But it is pretty expensive, starting from US$800.

  • How did it get the sound?

  • @Takanozana

I am sorry I missed answering your question.

This model has a factory installed QSI sound.

Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for leaving a message.

I use "Suethe" smoke generator #99 which operates well for 8-14V.

  • Very nice model engine and I just LOVE the machinics of the pistons and the wheel's! Hopefully you keep it in good working condition! :3

  • @Takanozana no problem.. Thanks for your answer...

  • @houtokur8 Whoa... that's more than I get in a month. But still, I look forward to finding something like this around my price range.

Thank you for telling me, and God bless you.
