I too agree that not only should the fish be released, the manner in which it was dispatched was also cruel and would have left most people sad. In Kenya most boats release billfish, it only a matter of asking them. We fish Tanzania on Mama Kitty and have caught many billfish an we pride ourselves that everyone has been tagged and released. next time please Tag and brag and you will be surprised how good it feels.

True, the crew are not well payed, if they give me a good days fishing and release billfish well, then I give them a good tip ! I do not have a problem with the boat selling fish ie yellow fin tuna but not billfish, looks like you had a good time fishing by the way, hope you return to kenya to try again :-)

You as the client can request that all unhurt bill fish can be released, at the end of the day you are paying so it is your choice also there are quicker ways to kill a fish than shown in your video, it gives sportsfishers a bad name, I,ve just returned from kenya, one day we caught 19 sailfish and released 18 of them, its not hard to do

okey. I understand your point. Though some of their payment is through selling fish. It's wrong from a sport fishers eye, but to them that's maybe bigger money in their pocket than it is to us. So I understand that they want to earn extra money. I don't know what they earn per day , but a rich englishman own the boats and the crew is for certain not well paid.
