THE 2nd ANNUAL FASHION SHOW-GLAMOROUS
UNIVERSAL & ECLECTIC FASHION
-FYP-DC and Swanky Productions, building upon the success of its inaugural 2007 fashion show, will have its 2nd Annual Fashion Show returning to center stage. Both FYP-DC and Swanky are thrilled to partner with sponsor Singha Beer. The show will be held Saturday March 15th at Café Asia located in Arlington, VA. The address is 1550 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22209 and the event, with raffle drawings, is free to the public 21 and up.

Proceeds will benefit the Asian Pacific American Film Festival (www.apafilm.org) and Culture Shock DC's Youth Outreach Program (www.cultureshockdance.org). If you would like to learn more about their programs and organizations, you can meet them in person the night of the show or log onto their websites.

Doors will open at 8:00 PM. Be ready to be entertained with a Pre-Show featuring spoken word and break dance performances. "Glamorous" will feature ethnic fashion designers such as Renegade Wear (http://www.renegadewear.com) and Chaubara Fashion Studio (http://www.chaubara.com) as well as the designer stores of Commander Salamander (http://www.commandersalamander.ca) and Access Bridal (www.accessbridal.com). We will also showcase the latest fashion from DEB (www.debshops.com) and from head-to-toe Urban Fashion of Downtown Locker Room (www.dtlr.com). It doesn't stop here! Along with this great list of designers, the show will also feature a line of beautiful and diverse models showcasing each designer's collections to reflect the rich and diverse community of Washington, D.C. Special performances by Culture Shock D.C. throughout the show will add to the exciting night.

All this fun is brought to you by our astonishing sponsor. Singha Beer is ready to roll out the red carpet and shower all the guests with VIP treatment. Singha will turn Cafe Asia into a New York style fashion show party. Ambience and decor of the event will create an experiential environment, allowing guests to interact with the Singha Brand. There will be a Singha Beer Photo Shoot Studio where guests can download pictures from (www.SinghaEvent.com). A Singha Beer Ice Sculpture will be on display for the crowd to enjoy extra cold Singha Beer.

FYP-DC (http://www.fypdc.org) started in January 2000 as a social networking group. In 2004, FYP-DC became incorporated in Virginia as 501(c). Since its inception, it has become the organization of choice for Filipino-Americans and other diverse young professionals.
