I was the TNP camerman at Kyle Schmidt's Patrol Rifle/Carbine Class at Actiontarget.com's Law Enforcement Training Camp (LETC), Sept 2010. It was a good course, well-instructed, and had some challenging shooting. I did my best getting some good footage for you guys. Here's some of it. I had ENTIRELY missed the previous 5 hours of instruction and jumped into the advanced shooting portion of this particular course, in which students are expected to integrate all the day's instruction and techniques for the latter stages of fire. No problem, I still wanted to play! But that meant quick and difficult transitions for me, going from mobile cameraman to a participant shooter. Toughest part: instantly gathering the mental focus to shoot FAST and accurately (just like I've discussed in many TNP shoots...combat mindset). Here's how my impromptu 15 yd rapid fire stage went. Remember I often discuss how semi-auto fire if done properly is accurate and deadly and how full auto in most situations is superfluous. Here again is some PROOF with the whole world watching. AT and Kyle were very supportive of the TNP coverage and were great hosts. Thanks to Actiontarget.com for a professional, fun instructional event. More vids on LETC forthcoming. //////////////Correction: Previously annotated as a Chip McCormick trigger, this RRA AR-15 wears the stock RRA 2-stage match trigger

  • It is a double feed. What a turd. It is when a round gets chopped off in the barrel. His extractor is messed up. These people need a lot of traing.

  • WHAT ARE YOU DOING!

  • @GunsCigsAndBeer M14 and AK has a charging handle directly attached to the bolt. US army trained soldiers to hit the M14's bolt if it didn't go into battery all the way. The idea of needing to hit the bolt home is hardly new to the AR15/M16. And again, Nutnfancy's AR rocks. There are countless Beta C-mag dumps all over Youtube with ZERO jams. I would say just looking at the outside of that AR that jams on this video says a lot about the inside of that gun and the guy firing it.

  • @mocatz187 in my opinion if a weapon system is already designed with a "foward assist" that means the makers already know that there will be jams to come.

  • @GunsCigsAndBeer Nutnfancy's AR works great. I have a feeling that guy with the jamming AR15 could make any gun jam.

  • These law enforement peopel training here are an embarrassment.

  • Accuracy means nothing if your gun jams.

  • Really stable shooting takes alot of practise. you make it look easy.

  • I love the annotations.

  • he shoulda got an AK

  • Will a leatherman MUT fix that sounds like a T&E review suggestion

  • I'm not knocking him at all, but it's like nails on a chalkboard seeing bad muzzle control.
